Saiham & Safko is a group of companies owned and managed by the Saiham family of Syhlet, Bangladesh. The objective of the family was to establish and operate most modern industries in the rural area of Bangladesh to develop the area with economic activities and creating job opportunities and thus alleviating poverty in the area. This family is well known in Bangladesh for their honesty, integrity and highest degree of business ethics with accomplishment in manufacturing of textile products and also entrepreneurship in information technology and construction business. The Manufacturing facilities are located in Saiham Nagar (Saiham town), Noyapara under Habiganj district of greater Sylhet division of Bangladesh. This area is rich in availability of natural gas for industrial development.
The entrepreneurship journey of the family was started by Late Syed Sayeeduddin Ahmed in 1952 by establishing three enterprises named Safko Rice Mills, Sayeeduddin Timber Industry and Standard Printing Press at a remote rural area in Noyapara of greater Sylhet division of Bangladesh. Later in 1982 the sons of Late Sayeeduddin Ahmed brought themselves to lime light by establishing of a modern composite textile mill namely Saiham Textile Mills Ltd, the pioneer mill of the country for producing very high quality and export standard fabric.

In later years more industries were added and almost after 62 years down the line, Saiham Nagar, Noyapara has emerged as an important investment area of the country with vast opportunities of employment generation and prime location for national gas availability. Presently about 8000 people are employed in multiple ventures owned by the family. The management of the company has long and intensive knowledge and experience in various types of businesses ventures in Bangladesh & overseas.
