Basic was set up and incorporated in 1991 as a limited company under the Regulations of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. After formation in 1991, the firm completed a number of projects in the power sector, such as Construction of 230/132kV Sub-station at Haripur, and river dredging projects like Dredging of channel in the tetulia river and placement of 33kv XLPE (2 km long) cable across tetulia river in Barisal in 1994.
