The Hasanfeer family started business under the name Hasanfeer Traders in 1959. Trading did not quench the strive to move ahead of two brothers Enayat Hussain and Abbas Hussain who decided to enter in ship breaking business in 1978 under M.E.B Ship Breaking Ltd.
The success of this venture led to the foundation of M.E.B Rerolling and ingot manufacturing in 1981. In 1982 they decided to take another step in forward integration and founded Hatim Pipes which is still running and now part of the Hatim Group of Industries.
