Purplewood is a social marketing and behavior change communications (SBCC) consulting firm in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It offers services ranging from market / consumer research to strategy development, branding and graphic designing, outdoor advertising, digital media, event and activations.

Purplewood is currently housed at House 145 Road 03, Niketan, Gulshan-1, Dhaka – where it has set up office. Purplewood has the requisite equipment – including but not limited to Mac computers, IBM desktop computers, printer, fax, illustration station, photography equipment and videography equipment (high definition). Through its sister company Storybox, Purplewood has access to video editing panels, lighting, sound mixing and other post-production facilities.

Through its strategic partner Palakar, Purplewood commands a countrywide implementation network that can handle brand activation and rural / community events alike. This gives Purplewood access to the country’s best theater group as well.

Purplewood employs professionals educated and experienced in account management, research, strategic planning, creative direction, photography and illustrations. DTP work is also managed from this facility. Purplewood provides media planning and buying services to its clients through a combination of own transactions and subcontracts. The latter are particularly useful when buying substantial chunks of airtime, and enables the organization to provide better discounts for the client.
