MEL Group saw a humble beginning as Modern Erection Limited in 1983. We started as maintenance service provider for steam boilers. The business soon became more specialized on industrial plant erection, installation and commissioning.

With the ready-made garments industry boom in early nineties, MEL developed small steam boilers – first of its kind in Bangladesh. Riding on the waves of a favorable economic climate, MEL diversified to offer products & services in the fields of garment finishing machinery, water treatment, industrial effluent treatment, building services and power engineering. The dynamic business approach saw the establishment of 4 more companies, thus to form a group. All the individual companies provide us platforms to build new business and to tap into new market opportunities. More importantly, they offer better support and quicker response to all customers.
