The company was established in 1947, and started production in 1956 under the name of Pakistan Medical Supplies (PMS). It adopted its present name in 1972.

Jayson Group of Companies started with Jayson Pharmaceuticals Ltd, an ISO certified pharmaceutical preparations manufacturer, having had a successful stint in pharmaceuticals for 54 years.
