Golden fibre ‘Jute’ has a golden history. It once flourished the name of ‘Bengal’ globally by virtue of self-excellence and successively became an integral part of Bengali culture.

Jute inaugurated industrialization in Indian subcontinent (specially in East Bengal – Present Bangladesh) and was supplied as raw material for number of industries in Europe, America, France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Austria & Russia during the latter half of 18th century. Thus jute once built a vital global trade network.
